BernedoodleLane

About Us

Welcome to BernedoodleLane! My name is Amerys, and with my husband, as new parents, we want to help others find puppies fit for all stages of life. Although we only took over BernedoodleLane from my mom, Semyra Miller, in 2024, I've been helping my family raise dogs fit for other families for almost 10 years.

My mom started BernedoodleLane in 2015 as an endeavor to raise dogs fit for me and my three siblings, and for others. We all agreed with my mom's passion and commitment in breeding and raising beautiful, healthy, family-friendly Bernedoodles. We are a small home-based breeder and do not have any plans of becoming a large production that would outgrow our space or resources. We strive to give our puppies the attention and love that is so important in raising healthy, happy babies.

We encourage you to your own diligent research when considering the purchase of any puppy. It is a 12-15 year commitment and taking the time to prepare your home, your family and your lifestyle for a new puppy will set you up for a successful and confident relationship for years to come.

When you have done your research and are ready to make a commitment, we are happy to help you learn more about BernedoodleLane and our furry teddy bears! Send us an email and we will do our best to answer any questions you have, and if I don't have all the answers, I will let you know that too. I'm also more than happy to schedule a time to chat on the phone.

Hope to chat with you soon!

Our Program

Our puppies are raised with the utmost care and attention. We dedicate our time to raising healthy and happy Bernedoodles from our family, for yours. Training begins from day one, being held and gently socialized with us and our kids. At 3 days old, puppies begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). This is a series of positions, starting from day 3 - 16 held for 5 seconds each to help puppies get used to being away from mom and siblings, as well get them ready for their future in their new homes. ENS is a process we do with each puppy individually to help improve:

  • cardio vascular performance (heart rate)

  • stronger heart beats

  • higher tolerance to stress

  • greater resistance to disease

Having a healthy puppy from day one onwards is important to us! We do weekly weigh ins, growth checks and regular health checks to make sure each puppy is getting the attention they deserve, and they stay healthy. By the time they go home, puppies are fully vaccinated, up to date with age appropriate deworming schedule, and microchipped. They will have passed a complete health check by our certified family vet, and this vet record goes home to the new puppy parents.

Our puppies have will have started on potty training and are eating high quality, vet approved dry kibble, TLC Petfood, which I highly recommend for my puppies and adult dogs.

Each one of our puppies are raised to become family/companion/or therapy pets and are sold on a non-breeding contract. Puppies must be spayed or neutered before they reach 1 year old (between 6-12 months is recommended). Proof of the spay/neuter procedure shall be sent to us before puppy turns 1 year old. This is a legal and binding contract that is signed by both buyer and seller.

The purchase of every puppy is non-refundable. If circumstances have changed and suitable home can no longer be provided, we are more than happy to help find the right home for puppy with the puppy's best interest in mind. We don't ever want to see any of our babies ending up in animal shelters or the wrong hands. If you have found a suitable home on your own, we do ask that you transfer the contact info of the new family to be able to keep in touch.

When you have done your research and are ready to make a commitment, we are happy to help you learn more about BernedoodleLane and all our furry teddy bears. We take pride in all our puppies, and are devoted to giving you and your puppy the best lifetime experience. Send us an email and we will do our best to answer any questions you have!
